INDIMEZULU Trust
INDIMEZULU Trust was established in 2006 to contribute in the advancement of education for students with disabilities through awarding them with bursaries at tertiary level. INDIMEZULU Trust Board meets annually to identify and select students who are in need of financial assistance. This is in line with INDIMEZULU Trust's mandate and immediate commitment which also include assisting in opening access to empowerment opportunities at all levels of social strata. The principal sponsor for INDIMEZULU Trust in the last five years has been the KwaZulu-Natal Department of Economic Development and Tourism. Today INDIMEULU Trust has benefited 47 students with disabilities in KwaZulu-Natal.
KwaZulu-Natal Disability Economic Empowerment Program (DEEP)
In 2009 Valhalla Arts launched the KwaZulu-Natal Disability Economic Empowerment Program (DEEP) initiative for the mobilization of people with disabilities. The DEEP initiative culminates in an annual Expo that is hosted in partnership with various sectors including government, the private sector and civil society organizations in a common commitment to improving networking systems which enable people with disabilities to be aware of and access opportunities that are available for their empowerment in business, employment, education, skills development and recreation.
TRIBUTES Excellence Awards
In 2010 Valhalla Arts launched the TRIBUTES Excellence Awards, a special ceremony which honors women with disabilities who have left a lasting legacy in our various forms of socio-economic and political freedoms. 'TRIBUTES' involves the South African community identifying and nominating high-profile women with disabilities that have left lasting legacies in various fields of society. Each year 13 women with disabilities are selected and invited to be recognized in a three-day fun-filled celebration program.

CONSERVATION ON WHEELS
In 2010 Valhalla Arts joined forces with the Ezemvelo KwaZulu-Natal Wildlife to launch 'Conservation on Wheels' an initiative that seeks to promote visits by people with disabilities, especially students from Special Schools, to Game Parks and Nature Conservation areas in KwaZulu-Natal
SANTA WHEELS
In 2007 MUSA E. ZULU founded the 'Santa Wheels' Christmas project. This initiative was started to reach out to bring cheer to children with disabilities, particularly those in hospitals during the Christmas period. The objectives of this initiative also include; distributing toys to child patients; raising disability awareness in communities and entrenching "Santa Wheels" in popular disability-celebration culture. This initiative has in the past reached numerous South African hospitals, disability organizations/centers together with Special Schools for Learners with Disabilities.

THISABILITY NEWSPAPER
In 2011 Valhalla Arts together with partners founded the THISABILITY Newspaper a bi-monthly publication which seeks to create awareness and accessibility of various disability related initiatives together with communicating their development messages to the wider South African population. The newspaper's supporting website (www.thisability.co.za where one can access and download a portable document file [PDF]) forms an advertising and marketing arm of positive disability news across South Africa.
